HumasUPNVJ - Head of the Education and Public Services Division of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) Romy Di Putra said that his party supports and cooperates with the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) in mass Covid-19 vaccination activities because they have a common vision.

"UPNVJ is a State Defense Campus. Similar to UPNVJ, LPS, which guarantees bank customer deposits in Indonesia, also has a mission to defend the country, but on the economic side," said Romy while attending the vaccination ceremony which was held at the UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus, Saturday (28/ 8/2021).

Romy said LPS and UPNVJ already had a long history of collaboration in the form of socializing the role and function of LPS guarantees to banking customers. The history of this collaboration also became the background for LPS to become a party that supports mass vaccination on the UPNVJ campus.

"The vaccination program at UPNVJ aims to support government programs. We hope that the LPS Cares for the Nation program can help Indonesia recover from the Covid-19 pandemic," he said.

The vaccination activity which was held last Saturday (28/8/2021) was a collaboration between UPNVJ and Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta Indonesian Student Regiment Alumni Association (IARMI), Jayakarta Student Regiment (Menwa) and LPS.

This activity was the third time the vaccination activity was held at the UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus. In addition, UPNVJ has also held vaccination activities in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. (*)
