The Chancellor of UPNVJ along with the staff and Kapolres Metro Depok

HumasUPNVJ - Chancellor of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP signed a collaboration with the Metro Depok Police (Polres), from community service to the opportunity to study Masters for members of the Depok Metro Police.

"We need cooperation like this to improve performance for us who are also teaching staff and to increase student productivity in the social field. Not only that, with this collaboration in the future the Polres members will have the opportunity to continue their Masters in Law studies at UPNVJ;” explained Erna in her remarks at the signing of the Depok Metro Police collaboration at the Pondok Labu UPNVJ Rectorate Building, Monday (06/09/21).

On another occasion, Kombes Pol, Imran Edwin Siregar, Kapolres Metro Depok, who came with his staff, said that this collaboration was needed to provide direct service to the community, especially in the social field.

"We need collaboration, because we realize we cannot do it alone. Thank you for the cooperation. I hope that the National Police, lecturers and students can work together to provide benefits to the wider community," said Imran.

It should be noted, previously the Depok Police and UPNVJ students had actively collaborated to organize a Covid-19 vaccine center for residents of Depok and its surroundings. This was done to meet the government's target of evenly distributing Covid-19 vaccinations in the Depok area.

With this collaboration, it is hoped that collaboration will continue to provide mutual benefits, especially in the social field and provide direct experience for lecturers and students to go directly into the wider community.
