HumasUPNVJ - Chancellor of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP in the Series 2 Webinar organized by the Association of Indonesian Economic Scholars (ISEI) said that the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program is an implementation of the link and match concept of state universities with the industrial world.

"The concept of a link and match with the MBKM program, where the program makes it much easier in terms of institutions and actors in it and of course if this program is useful to increase the relevance of the business world to students," said Erna as a guest speaker in the Series 2 Webinar activity organized by the Indonesian Economists Association online on Monday (06/09/21).

Not only the Chancellor of UPNVJ, in the webinar which raised the theme of the Role of Higher Education with the Business World and the Industrial World in the Implementation of MBKM, also presented Inarno Djajadi Main Director of the Indonesian Stock Exchange, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M Budi Djatmiko, M.Si Chairperson of the Association of Indonesian Private Universities and M. Arsjad Rasjid PM, B.Sc Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On this special occasion, as many as 700 participants attended from various universities in Indonesia, ranging from university leaders, professors and lecturers to students, who could have direct discussions with experts to unify common perceptions.

"We hope that this program will be the first step for PTN collaboration with companies, in order to improve the quality of human resources and strengthen the economy in Indonesia," hoped Inarno Djajadi.
