HumasUPNVJ - Changes in the financial management pattern of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University on May 31, 2021, namely from work unit management to Public Service Agency (BLU) financial management which was stipulated based on Minister of Finance Decree Number 209/KMK.05/2021 concerning the Yogyakarta Veterans National Development University , Bali State Polytechnic and Jakarta State Polytechnic at the Ministry of Education and Culture as Government Agencies Implementing the Financial Management Pattern of Public Service Bodies. Under these conditions UPNVJ needs to make adjustments to the changes that have occurred, where these changes can be said to be quite fast and significant changes. Changes do not only occur in administration, but changes occur in the entire work system and working pattern of UPNVJ, even at the managerial level.
Under these conditions, it requires the cooperation of all devices within the UPNVJ agency, effort and hard work from the leaders, lecturers and even from all educational staff from the top level to the lower level. The main movement starts from the Rectorate, where the rectorate is the center of all activities which will be followed by other Working Units under the Rectorate. Therefore, the apparatus in the Rectorate need to be equipped with capacity building, but in addition to increasing capacity, the rectorate apparatus also needs to be equipped with an understanding of UPNVJ's vision and mission and a sense of ownership of UPNVJ, so that there will be simultaneous adjustments to changes and achievement of the work unit's vision and mission precise and fast.
To support the realization of all the expectations mentioned above, the Rectorate plans to hold Employee Capacity Building activities in the UPNVJ Rectorate Environment. This activity aims to increase capacity in terms of understanding vision and mission, increasing a sense of belonging, teamwork skills, increasing work motivation and increasing self-confidence. In view of these objectives, later the activities will be packaged with the delivery of motivational materials accompanied by many outbound and team games . The planned activities will be carried out outside Jakarta, this is done in order to create a new, pleasant atmosphere and allow for outbound (outdoor activities).
This Capacity Building activity is intended to increase the capacity of each employee, especially in terms of increasing ability in teamwork, increasing work motivation and increasing self-confidence at work so that it is hoped that by increasing capacity it will also improve UPNVJ's overall performance.
The purpose of this activity is for all employees to understand UPNVJ's vision and mission so that UPNVJ can easily achieve the vision and mission in a short time, and support UPNVJ's development in a much better direction. This activity was carried out for three days, Sunday - Tuesday, 14-16 November 2021 at Highland Park Resort Bogor while still complying with health protocols in accordance with government directives, namely by continuing to wear masks, maintain distance and bring personal hand sanitizer . This activity was attended by all work units of the UPNVJ Rectorate.

The Head of General Affairs and Finance Bureau delivered his remarks, "The expected outcomes for the implementation of Employee Capacity Building activities in the UPNVJ Rectorate Environment include: Employees understand UPNVJ's vision and mission, Higher sense of ownership of Work Units, Participants are able to work with Teams, Have Work Motivation to Achieve Achievements , Having confidence in work. The benefits of carrying out the intended activities for employees include: Improving skills in " Problem Solving " and " Decision Making " quickly and accurately based on skills in identifying " Key Problems ", Improving Capabilities in "Leadership and Empowerment ” ( Situational Leadership & Empowerment ) adapted to the situation, Become an effective and efficient " Change Agent" within each work unit environment and Have a Sensitivity in "Entrepreneurship" ( Entrepreneurship )," concluded Suharyati
Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Prasetyo Hadi, SE, MM, CFMP representing the Chancellor gave remarks and opened the event, "Representing the Chancellor, I would like to thank all the committee teams involved, especially the EO team who helped us, Trustco , I hope that all activities from today to three the next day goes well. Before the activities were taken over by Trustco trainers, Dr. Anter Venus MA, Comm, as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, "This event is to build the capacity and cohesiveness of our team, especially for work. The progress of our organization the progress of our agency is our own responsibility. How to cultivate a good mindset for work, such as the purpose of this activity is to carry out the aim is for the rectorate employees to receive long-term benefits from the implementation of the intended capacity building including: Employees understand the targets to be achieved by study programs/faculties/universities in the future and contributions what employees need to strive for, employees understand the history and values of UPNVJ, establish a common perception and common goals in their position as UPNVJ employees and become an effective and efficient " Change Agent" within their respective work units .
The activity continued with Indoor Session Motivation 1, Team Capacity Building: Building Self Competence and Work Motivation. Then it was continued with Indoor Session Motivation 2 Team Capacity Building: Building Cooperation and Team Solidity.
For the second day, November 15 2021, it will be continued with in-group felling, Games and other outbound activities and Indoor Session Motivation 3, Self-disclosure & Communication games by Roy Rundonowo.
Then the last day was filled with material from Dr. Iwan Kresna, MM, who discussed Action Oriented Thinking/ PIKIR/ Achievement Motivation.
