UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ)'s consistency and commitment to building transparent and accountable higher education governance has once again received national recognition. UPNVJ was awarded the 2025 Public Information Transparency Award by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KIP RI) in 2025, ranking ninth among informative public bodies, with a total score of 97.75 percent.
The recognition was announced at an official ceremony on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Birawa Assembly Hall, Hotel Bidakara, Jakarta. The event was attended by UPNVJ Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm.
This achievement holds strategic significance for UPNVJ. In 2025, the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Public Agency Information Disclosure involved 387 public agencies from various sectors, including ministries, state institutions, regional governments, state-owned enterprises, and state universities. Of the 149 state universities participating in the process, 54 received informative ratings, and UPNVJ established itself as one of the institutions with the best information disclosure performance.
Prof. Venus emphasized that public information disclosure is part of UPNVJ's ongoing commitment to good university governance. She believes transparency is crucial not only for fulfilling regulatory obligations but also for maintaining public trust in university management.
"Becoming an informative institution is a consequence of our commitment to good university governance. Openness of information is not just a matter of meeting standards, but part of the values we implement in all university services and management," said Prof. Venus.
UPNVJ's achievement as one of the top 10 informative public bodies further confirms the university's position as a transparent, accountable, and responsive higher education institution, while strengthening public trust in UPNVJ as a higher education institution that upholds the principle of information transparency.
