Public Relations of UPNVJ - Yogyakarta, December 15, 2025 - The management of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) of the Jakarta Veteran National Development University (UPNVJ) conducted a comparative study to the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Campus Mosque in Yogyakarta.
The visit aimed to learn about the management of the campus mosque as a center for religious activities and student character development. Led by the Head of the UPNVJ Mosque Council, Suprima, S.Pd.I, M.Pd.I, MH, the group was welcomed by the UGM Campus Mosque management for a discussion and inspection of the facilities.
This activity is expected to increase the role of the mosque as an inclusive space for the UPNVJ academic community.
The meeting discussed organizational management, da'wah programs, and optimizing mosques within the campus ecosystem.
Suprima assessed that the UGM Campus Mosque has effectively integrated worship, education, and social functions. "We want to learn how campus mosques can become productive and open centers for student activities," he said. Meanwhile, the Head of the UGM Campus Mosque Management Committee, Dr.
Mohamad Yusuf, MA, emphasized collaboration between campus mosques to share experiences and innovations.
The group also visited the facilities and flagship programs of the UGM Campus Mosque, such as student ethics development activities. The results of this comparative study will serve as a reference for the UPNVJ Mosque's Student Council (DKM) in developing future governance and programs. This initiative aligns with the university's efforts to strengthen religious values amidst the dynamics of modern education.
