FT UPNVJ and UMP Agree on Tridharma Cross-Border Cooperation

Public RelationsUPNVJ - Faculty of Engineering, National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially signed a collaboration agreement with University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) on Tuesday, 26 September 2023.

The signing took place in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Engineering, attended by several officials, including the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus, ST, MT, and representatives from the Faculty of Engineering and the UMP leadership team.

This collaboration has a number of focuses, but the most striking is the joint commitment to developing the tridharma of higher education, with special emphasis on student exchanges.

This exchange scheme allows students of the Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering study programs at UPNVJ to gain valuable learning experience in an international environment at UMP, and vice versa.

Through this signing, the partnership between the UPNVJ Faculty of Engineering and University Malaysia Pahang is becoming stronger. It is hoped that this step can open the door to more international opportunities among students, and will make a positive contribution to improving the quality of education in both countries.

Apart from that, the signing of this agreement can also mean that the Faculty of Engineering, UPNVJ and UMP have started a promising journey towards establishing a wider and better quality academic network. This collaboration also opens up international opportunities for students, and encourages sustainable growth in higher education.
