Journey to International Accreditation: UPNVJ Conducts Evaluation and Follow-up Planning for FIBAA Accreditation Results

Public Relations UPNVJ – After receiving a visit from the FIBAA Accreditation Institution Assessor Team on 20 and 21 June, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) has finally received the results of the assessment of several indicators which serve as a reference for obtaining international accreditation.

Today (11/10), at the UPNVJ Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Hall, the UPNVJ Accreditation Preparation Team was led by the Chancellor, Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm carries out evaluation and follow-up planning activities for accreditation results.

Venus who was accompanied by the Chair of LP3M UPNVJ, Satria Yudhia W., SE, MS. Ak. said that UPNVJ was very close to international accreditation. Indeed, there are still several things that need to be improved. Conditional notes from FIBAA are considered reasonable because according to Venus, in the process of applying for accreditation that occurs at other universities, the majority always have notes on the results.

Notes from the FIBAA Institute for UPNVJ regarding the accreditation of the ten study programs that have been submitted are basically few. Venus as the Chancellor still tolerates and is grateful for this because when compared with other universities whose activities have been around for longer, there are not many indicators that need to be improved by UPNVJ.

Venus is optimistic that the improvement notes from the accreditor will be able to be carried out by the UPNVJ Accreditation Preparation Team within a short period of time, "now I think these notes are all in principle manageable for us. We can arrange it now, including earlier, workload..." Venus said, believing the other team members.

Previously it was known that the FIBAA Assessor Team visited 4 faculties, namely FEB, FISIP, FIK, and FH. The ten study programs registered for international accreditation include Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Sharia Economics, Bachelor of Development Economics, Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Communication Science, Bachelor of International Relations, Bachelor of Political Science, Bachelor of Information Systems, and Bachelor of Informatics.

Assessment is seen from various aspects such as students, education management, facilities, etc. During the visitation, interviews were also conducted with several lecturers and visits to laboratories in the faculty.
