Public Relations UPNVJ - Students and lecturers from the Management Study Program of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Masters Program visited Malaysia on Thursday, 19 October 2023, to carry out global business perspective activities as an effort to implement the vision and mission towards internationalization. This activity was carried out for a week and was attended by 50 students and lecturers.
The agenda for this academic visit was held with various interesting events such as research collaboration, international PKM for MSMEs assisted by UNiKL, AIBC UNiKL international conference presenter and visits to global companies in Malaysia, one of which was PT SAS. Apart from that, campus tours and cultural exchange performances between countries were also held.
"This activity is a form of achieving IKU and implementing the curriculum in international-based courses. This activity is expected to provide knowledge and knowledge of global business strategies for MM students," said the Dean of FEB, Dr. Jubaedah, SE., MM.
In addition, this visit also provides an opportunity for students to expand international networks, develop cross-cultural skills, and increase their understanding of global diversity in a business context.
Lecturers and students also engage in interactive discussions with leading industry stakeholders in Malaysia, providing in-depth insights into the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the global market. Through this knowledge exchange, it is hoped that students can hone analytical abilities and problem solving skills that are relevant to the current global business environment.
During the visit, the team also had the opportunity to attend an international seminar at UniKL Business School, which enabled them to gain a better understanding of the innovative strategies used by leading companies in Malaysia and around the world.
In this seminar, students and lecturers can explore the practical application of the theoretical concepts they learn in the Master of Management program.
This academic visit activity also facilitates the exchange of knowledge between the two universities in developing curricula that are relevant to global market demands.
By utilizing different experiences and perspectives, the UPNVJ Master of Management program is expected to be more responsive to dynamic changes in the global market and can produce graduates who are ready to face complex business challenges in the future.
