HumasUPNVJ - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a halal bihalal event on the first day of work after the holiday and joint leave for Eid al-Fitr 1446 on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Halal Bihalal was attended by Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anter Venus along with all staff at UPNVJ.

Venus said that this halal bihalal aims to strengthen friendship and togetherness, both between divisions and from other sections or faculties.

"In some countries, there is no halal bilhalal. But in our country, because there is a shared desire to create moments and events, then a silaturahmi or halal bihalal is held," said Venus.

According to him, there are two main things in halal bihalal. First, doing silaturahmi after celebrating Eid al-Fitr, and second, cleaning each other's hearts.

"Everyone has mistakes in matters that we are aware of or not. Friendship is very important because whoever wants his fortune to be expanded and his life to be extended, then expand friendship," explained Venus.

"We begin our new journey to advance UPNVJ with a clean heart," he concluded.
