HumasUPNVJ - The National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) is again conducting health tests for prospective new students (camaba) through the 2025 National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) pathway.
This health test is one of the mandatory requirements that must be fulfilled by all UPNVJ prospective students before being officially declared as new students and starting lectures.
The series of tests consist of two main examinations, namely the Narcotics and Drugs/Dangerous Materials Free Test, and the Color Blindness Test. The drug-free examination includes six parameters, namely Amphetamine (AMP), Methamphetamine (MET), Cocaine (COC), Morphine/Opiate (MOP), Marijuana (THC), and Benzodiazepine (BZD).
For the Color Blindness Test, it is mandatory for prospective students of the S1 Medicine and S1 Pharmacy study programs.
"Prospective students who do not meet the criteria for the drug-free test—especially those who tested positive for COC and THC—cannot continue the admission process. The same applies to prospective students of the S1 Medicine and S1 Pharmacy study programs who do not pass the color blindness test," said Fajar Nugroho, Coordinator of UPNVJ's New Student Admissions, in his speech.
The 2025 SNBT health test was attended by a total of 2,299 prospective students, which was carried out in two days, namely June 2 and 3, 2025. On the first day, 1,175 participants took the test, followed by 1,124 participants on the second day.
One of the participants, Savira Delvina Batubara, a graduate of SMAS Cakra Buana from Jakarta, said she was happy after taking the health test and officially becoming part of UPNVJ.
"Alhamdulillah, I graduated from SNBT 2025 for the International Relations study program. Although I had a gap year, but Alhamdulillah I finally succeeded," said Savira.
"I hope to be able to study to the fullest, be a good example for my juniors in high school, and be active in the AIESEC organization at UPNVJ," he concluded.
