HumasUPNVJ - Another proud achievement was made by students of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) on the national stage. Rifki Arfiansyah Shalahan, a student of the Faculty of Computer Science, won 2nd place in the prestigious National Information Technology Roll Out (NITRO) 2025 event held on May 31, 2025 at the Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto.

The competition, which is participated by various well-known universities, such as Binus University and STMI Jakarta Polytechnic, is an annual event that challenges students to develop innovative technological solutions to answer real problems in society. This year, NITRO 2025 carries the theme "Smart Work, Strong Body, Complete Ideas."

Rifki explained that the project his team raised focused on the digitalization of MSMEs, including fulfilling technical aspects such as SEO, CTA, website design, and effective presentation techniques.

Arfi, as he is familiarly called, told the UPNVJ Public Relations team about the long process that he and his team went through.

"We prepared this carefully and gave our best to win. We conducted repeated research related to the case studies provided and looked for as many references as possible that were relevant to the competition theme. We also designed the presentation with totality, accompanied by interesting gimmicks to lighten the atmosphere," said Arfi.

"I hope that this achievement can motivate many other UPNVJ students. Students are not only critical, but must also have innovation values and high spirits for the future. Dare to fail, ready to win," he continued enthusiastically.
