Jakarta – June 5, 2025, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) has officially closed the registration period for the Independent Selection (SEMA) for the Undergraduate (S1) and Diploma Three (D3) Programs for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The closing was carried out on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 13.00 WIB via the official page pendaftaran.upnvj.ac.id. and succeeded in attracting thousands of prospective students from all over Indonesia.
This year's UPNVJ Independent Selection remains the favorite path for thousands of prospective students who wish to continue their higher education at one of the leading campuses in Indonesia. It is recorded that the quota provided reaches 1,439 seats for various study programs, and participants can choose the selection path according to their respective abilities and achievements.
There are two main paths in this independent selection, namely:
• Academic Path, which uses the 2025 SNBT Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK) scores and the National Defense Exam scores.
• Achievement Pathway, using a combination of academic pathway graduation criteria with academic and/or non-academic achievements, including achievements in the fields of sports, arts, religion, organizations, and content creators.
The registration fee is charged at Rp375,000, and participants can also submit a choice of the amount of the Institutional Development Contribution (IPI). In addition, educational assistance programs such as the Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP-K) and the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) are also available, although with limited quotas per study program.

The next stage, prospective SEMA UPNVJ participants are required to print the exam participant card on June 11, 2025 to see the schedule and instructions for implementing the national defense exam, then take the trial on June 16, 2025 and the national defense CBT exam on June 16, 2025, as one of the mandatory stages in the selection process which is carried out online with ongoing supervision.
