HumasUPNVJ - The implementation of the National Defense Examination as part of the Independent Selection of the "Veteran" National Development University Jakarta (SEMA UPNVJ) went smoothly without any significant obstacles.
The exam was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the UPNVJ Limo Campus, Depok, and was attended by 3,904 participants in the morning session and 3,865 in the afternoon session from various regions in Indonesia.
UPNVJ Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, said that the National Defense Examination is a characteristic of the selection of new student admissions at UPNVJ.
"This is what differentiates it from other State Universities, because UPNVJ instills national values, love for the homeland, and the spirit of defending the country from an early age," he said.
The exam was conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) method and covered materials related to Pancasila, National Insight, Citizenship, and National Defense Values. The activity took place in four classrooms—Merce Building, 3rd Floor (CBT 1 & 2), Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Health Sciences—with the support of 178 computers and supervisors, 8 technicians, and 17 helpdesk officers.
The Coordinator of the SEMA UPNVJ Implementation, Fajar Nugroho, appreciated all the committees and participants who contributed to the smooth running of the exam.
"We are committed to producing a young generation that is not only academically superior, but also has a strong sense of nationalism," he said.
Fajar also explained that the committee had prepared systems, applications, and technical training for supervisors and helpdesks.
"Some obstacles occurred, such as participants not being able to log in or having the wrong schedule, but they were overcome thanks to the readiness of the helpdesk team and technicians," he added.
He emphasized the importance of independent preparation by participants and hoped that they would take the exam honestly and calmly. "All the guidelines have been provided, and participants can contact the helpdesk if they experience difficulties," Fajar explained.
Participants who pass the National Defense Exam will proceed to the next stage, namely re-registration and health tests as part of the 2025/2026 Academic Year UPNVJ SEMA selection.
With the success of this implementation, UPNVJ reaffirms its position as a National Defense Campus that upholds the values of Pancasila and commitment to the Republic of Indonesia.
