UPNVJ Communication Science Masters Study Program Achieves “Very Good” Accreditation

Public RelationsUPNVJ - The Communication Science Study Program, Master's Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ), has officially achieved an accreditation rating of "Very Good" from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This achievement was determined through the Decree of the Director of the Executive Board of BAN-PT No. 6723/SK/BAN-PT/AK/M/VI/2025 dated June 14, 2025.

"This ranking shows that the UPNVJ Communication Science Masters Study Program has met the excellent standards of higher education quality, both in terms of curriculum, human resources, research, and governance," said Dr. S. Bekti Istiyanto, M.Si., Dean of FISIP UPNVJ and Chairperson of the Indonesian Communication Science Higher Education Association (ASPIKOM).

He also expressed his appreciation to the entire accreditation team, academic community, education staff, students, alumni, and partners who have contributed to this accreditation process.

"This is the fruit of collective and collaborative work, as well as proof that the learning system and academic output of this study program are relevant to the needs of the times," added Bekti.

UPNVJ Master of Communication Science students also welcomed this achievement. Taufik Muharfan, who is also a journalist for TV One, said he was proud of the accreditation results.

"The hard work of the lecturers is truly worthy of appreciation. As a student, I feel responsible to continue to maintain and carry the good name of this study program," he said.

Raswitha Murbinami, Director of PT. Bermuda Lenticular Sejati, said the same thing. She considered this accreditation as proof of the improvement in quality and commitment of the campus to the world of education in the digital era.

"This increases our confidence to compete in the professional world," said Raswitha.

Dedy Utama, another student who also serves as Manager Services Program Management Dell Technologies for the Indonesia and Thailand region, added: “This accreditation confirms UPNVJ’s position as the best place to deepen communication knowledge academically and practically.”

This “Very Good” accreditation is expected to motivate UPNVJ to continue to improve the quality of education, research, and community service, in line with its vision to become a superior and global campus.
