A total of 1,400 prospective new students through the Independent Selection (SEMA) pathway at the Jakarta Veteran National Development University (UPNVJ) took a health test at the Merce Building, Limo Campus, on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

This health test is an important stage in the selection process to ensure that all prospective students are free from drug abuse and, specifically for participants in the Faculty of Medicine, are not color blind.

The screening includes a drug screening for six substances (amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine, morphine/opiates, marijuana, and benzodiazepines) as well as a color blindness test.

UPNVJ New Student Admissions Coordinator, Fajar Nugroho, emphasized the importance of this test in supporting a healthy academic process and a drug-free campus environment.

"A total of 1,400 new prospective students from the SEMA pathway took the health test today. We hope that all participants get good results, and health workers can provide maximum service," said Fajar.

One of the participants, Carissa Ailsa Naurah, a graduate of Cakra Buana High School, Depok, expressed her gratitude for being able to pass the SEMA route in the Nutrition Study Program.

"Alhamdulillah, my parents and I are very grateful. After a long struggle, I was finally able to complete one of the important stages, namely the health test," said Carissa.
