UPNVJ Opens 3rd Wave of Masters Selection through Regular and High-Achieving Alumni Pathways

UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) has opened registration for the 3rd Wave of the Masters Program (S-2) through the 2026 UPNVJ Independent Selection starting Thursday, July 23, 2026. The selection provides Regular and Outstanding Alumni pathways with a total capacity of 73 students. Registration is open online until Tuesday, August 4, 2026, through the official UPNVJ new student admissions portal.

The opening of Wave 3 provides graduates of undergraduate or diploma four programs with the opportunity to enhance their academic and professional competencies in nine master's programs. This step is part of UPNVJ's strategy to expand access to postgraduate education while addressing the need for multidisciplinary human resources relevant to developments in the workplace and research.

In the Regular track, UPNVJ provides 50 seats spread across 10 Masters of Accounting seats, five Masters of Management seats, two Masters of Biomedical Science seats, one Masters of Communication Science seat, one Masters of International Relations seat, five Masters of Political Science seats, 16 Masters of Law seats, one Masters of Public Health seat, and nine Masters of Nursing seats.

Meanwhile, the Outstanding Alumni pathway offers 23 seats: two Master of Accounting seats, four Master of Management seats, five Master of Biomedical Science seats, three Master of International Relations seats, four Master of Law seats, four Master of Public Health seats, and one Master of Nursing seat. In Wave 3, the Outstanding Alumni pathway is not open to Master of Communication Science and Master of Political Science.

The Outstanding Alumni Pathway is for UPNVJ graduates from 2015–2025 who choose a master's program that aligns with their undergraduate program. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.25, complete their studies on time, and have no C grades on their academic transcripts. Scholarship recipients will receive full tuition assistance for a maximum of four semesters.

The registration fee for the Regular pathway is set at Rp750,000, while the Outstanding Alumni pathway is Rp500,000. Payment can be made through Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank Tabungan Negara, or Bank Mandiri via tellers, ATMs, and internet banking. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Online registration closes on August 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM WIB. The deadline for form payment is set for the same day at 3:00 PM WIB, while the completion of all registration stages closes at 5:00 PM WIB. Participants can print their exam cards starting August 6, 2026, and take the trial exam on August 7, 2026. The Computer-Based Test is scheduled for August 8, 2026, while the results will be announced on August 11, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB.

Participants who are declared to have passed can make re-registration payments and new student registration on August 11–14, 2026. The odd semester lectures for the UPNVJ Masters Program are scheduled to start on August 18, 2026. On the Outstanding Alumni pathway, participants must also attend an interview and prepare a personal statement containing their study plans and plans after completing their education.

Prospective participants are asked to study the requirements, registration procedures, tuition fees, exam materials, study program concentrations, and lecture times through the official UPNVJ New Student Admissions website. The public is advised to be wary of false information purporting to be from the new student admissions committee. All announcements, schedule changes, and selection requirements will only be communicated through the official UPNVJ website and social media.
