To Improve Teaching Quality, UPNVJ Holds PEKERTI Batch II Training for Innovative Lecturers

 

UPNVJ Public Relations - Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a Basic Instructional Techniques Skills Improvement Training (PEKERTI) to strengthen lecturers' professional teaching abilities. The two-week training took place at the UPNVJ Integrated Laboratory in Pondok Labu, involving 16 higher education experts. The training was divided into two batches: Batch 1 from November 3–7, 2025, and Batch 2 from November 10–14, 2025.

UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Anter Venus, emphasized that this program supports the university's commitment to equipping lecturers with comprehensive competencies, encompassing pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. He added that the training collaborates with relevant educational institutions to meet teaching competency testing standards.

The training materials covered innovative learning methods, learning outcome evaluation, and character and professional development. The speakers shared practical experiences to help lecturers manage classes more effectively, interact with students, and master research in their respective fields.
