UPNVJ Successfully Holds PEKERTI 2025, Equipping 120 Lecturers with Modern Instructional Techniques

 

UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) successfully completed the 2025 Basic Instructional Engineering Skills Improvement Program (PEKERTI). The program, involving 120 lecturers, was held in two batches on November 3–7 and 10–14, 2025, at the Pondok Labu Campus.
This collaborative program with the Indonesian Education University (UPI) Bandung equips participants with the skills to design, implement, and evaluate student-centered learning and integrate the latest technology. Prof. Netty Herawati, Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs at UPNVJ, emphasized the importance of concrete implementation of the training results in the classroom.
"We want the acquired competencies to be directly applied in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning," said Prof. Netty in her remarks. She added that this step supports UPNVJ's vision as a superior, innovative, and globally competitive National Defense Campus.
Dr. Ahmad Ahsin Thohari, Head of the Planning, Finance, and General Affairs Bureau of UPNVJ, signed and symbolically handed over the cooperation agreement with UPI Bandung. The main mentors from UPI Bandung are Dr. Lili Adi Wibowo, S.Pd., S.Sos., MM. (Director of the Training, Assessment, and Certification Directorate) and Dr. Mario Emilzoli, M.Pd. (Head of the Training Division).
Participants consisted of lecturers who were civil servants (CPNS), civil servants (PNS), and civil servants (ASN PPPK). The first batch (60 people) took place from November 3–7, 2025, while the second batch (60 people) ended today, November 14, 2025. The entire series of activities ran smoothly and received a positive response from participants.
UPNVJ is committed to continuously improving the quality of its faculty so that graduates become more adaptable and competitive in the global era. The PEKERTI 2025 program is concrete evidence of the university's efforts to support Freedom to Learn and the transformation of national higher education.
