UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a Fun Walk to celebrate its 48th anniversary. The event took place at Ragunan Zoo on Friday, November 14, 2025. Nearly 800 participants took part, including Sayed Junaidi Rizaldi, also known as Pacik, Chairman of the UPNVJ Alumni Association (IKA). He is an alumnus of the 1993 Mechanical Engineering Diploma Program.
Pacik participated directly and provided door prizes in the hope that the event would be more lively and run smoothly. His presence added to the sense of camaraderie among the lecturers, administrative staff, students, and alumni.
"It's extraordinary, this event is full of warmth and togetherness," said Pacik on the sidelines of the activity. He emphasized that the principle of kinship is the foundation for UPNVJ's growth every year.
Participants attended with great enthusiasm. Pacik appreciated the coordination of the committee under the Vice Rector III and the supervision of the Rector. The Fun Walk reflected the solidarity of the UPNVJ family.
Pacik considered this event strategic for alumni. "The Fun Walk creates a space for alumni-university synergy," he said. He hopes similar activities will strengthen alumni relationships and presence on campus.
As Chair of IKA, Pacik is consolidating the organization. The main focus is strengthening presence on social media and collaboration with education stakeholders.
IKA's plans include nostalgia and collaboration. "Alumni will share information and support UPNVJ," Pacik added. He proposed a music event collaboration with renowned artists.
Pacik encouraged alumni to stay connected through simple activities. He suggested that campuses offer opportunities, such as scholarships, for the children of high-achieving alumni to foster solidarity.
UPNVJ's 48th Anniversary Fun Walk successfully strengthened the alumni-academic bridge. Pacik's contribution symbolizes IKA's commitment to transforming the campus into a national defense campus.
