HumasUPNVJ — Indonesia International Education & Training 2026 (IIETE 2026) was officially opened at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) Senayan, Thursday (12/2/2026). Representing the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Head of Public Relations and Protocol of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology Doddy Zulkifli Indra Atmaja, SIKom., M.Si. opened the event which will run until Sunday, February 15, 2026.
In his remarks, Doddy apologized for the ministry's inability to attend due to pressing commitments. He expressed his appreciation for the committee, participants, and visitors—including prospective new students and parents—who filled the exhibition area from the first day.
"This is no ordinary education exhibition. We fully support IIETE because it aligns with the #ImpactDiktisaintek program. We believe this event will have a positive impact after its implementation," he said to the opening attendees.
IIETE 2026 Executive Chairman Muhammad Sukur Sakka in his report emphasized that this year's IIETE was the 34th event and was attended by participants from various countries as well as leading state and private universities from across Indonesia. He assessed that consistent participation from various educational institutions demonstrated the increasing level of trust in IIETE as a space for information gathering, consultation, and higher education networking. The history of IIETE, which has been held regularly since 1993, is also recorded in the records of previous events.
Over four days, IIETE 2026 will offer campus information, study programs, scholarships, and educational consultations for high school (SMA), vocational (SMK), and Islamic high school (MA) students and the general public. The exhibition will take place at JICC Senayan from February 12–15, 2026.
On the same occasion, *UPN “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ)* again participated in enlivening IIETE 2026. In line with the trend of high visits in previous years, the UPNVJ booth was again greeted enthusiastically by students from various schools seeking information on admission routes and study program options.
UPNVJ's participation in IIETE is part of the campus's commitment to expanding access to credible and easily accessible higher education information for the public.
The IIETE education exhibition is an important channel for connecting the needs of prospective students with the readiness of universities, while simultaneously strengthening the impactful education ecosystem.
UPNVJ is present not only to introduce the campus, but also to ensure the public receives accurate information about higher education, self-development opportunities, and transparent entry paths.
