UPNVJ Holds Open Bidding Discussion with Unsil, Encouraging Transparency and Accountability

UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) and Siliwangi University (Unsil) discussed the procedures and flow of open bidding for positions in a meeting held in the meeting room of the Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs of UPNVJ on Thursday, April 9, 2026. This discussion involved leaders and strategic officials from both universities to strengthen transparent and accountable human resource governance practices. This meeting is part of an effort to share best practices in the implementation of open selection for positions within state universities.

During the event, Satria Yudhia, Head of the UPNVJ Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP), detailed the mechanisms and stages of the open bidding process implemented at UPNVJ. He explained that the open selection process is conducted systematically, starting with job requirements planning, open announcements, administrative selection, and assessing candidates' competencies and track records.
Satria emphasized that the implementation of open bidding at UPNVJ is not only oriented towards regulatory compliance but also serves as a strategic tool for recruiting competent and high-integrity human resources. "This process is designed to ensure that every candidate has an equal opportunity and is objectively assessed based on their qualifications and leadership capacity," he said.

Meanwhile, Nana Sujana, Head of the Finance and General Affairs Bureau at Siliwangi University, also shared Unsil's experience in conducting open bidding within the university. He explained that Unsil also applies the principles of transparency and accountability in every stage of the selection process, involving an independent and competent assessment team.

The exchange of information between the two institutions was dynamic. Both parties discussed the differences and similarities in their approaches to open bidding, including the challenges faced and strategies for maintaining the objectivity and credibility of the selection process.
UPNVJ's Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs, Prof. Netty Herawati, emphasized the importance of continuous oversight at every stage of the open bidding process in her remarks. She expressed her hope that the open selection process would run smoothly and yield the best results for the institution. "We hope this open bidding process can continue to be well-supervised to produce competent leaders capable of leading the organization toward greater progress," she said.

Through this activity, UPNVJ demonstrates its commitment to strengthening professional institutional governance and consistently encouraging the implementation of policies that uphold transparency, accountability, and quality leadership within the campus environment, as part of efforts to realize superior and competitive higher education governance.
