Public Relations of UPNVJ – The National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) through the Independent Selection (SEMA) has opened registration for the Doctoral Program (S-3) in Law in 2026. Based on registration information, the registration process will take place from April 22, 2026, at 09.00 WIB to July 3, 2026, at 13.00 WIB and will be conducted online through the UPNVJ new student admissions page. UPNVJ itself has an official channel for doctoral level registration as well as a special information page for the Doctor of Law Program on the new student admissions portal.

This opening provides an opportunity for academics, legal practitioners, and professionals who wish to pursue higher studies while deepening their analytical, research, and scientific contributions in the legal field. The presence of the UPNVJ Doctor of Law Program underscores the university's commitment to expanding access to advanced higher education relevant to the needs of society, the professional world, and the dynamics of public policy.

Academically, the Doctor of Laws Program at the UPNVJ Faculty of Law was developed with a focus on comparative law and legal pluralism to address the complexity of legal issues in Indonesia. UPNVJ emphasizes that a multidisciplinary approach is one of the program's key characteristics, encouraging students to view legal issues not only from a normative perspective but also from social, cultural, and practical dimensions. This approach is positioned as a key differentiator compared to similar programs at other universities.

With this development direction, the UPNVJ Doctoral Program in Law offers a research-based curriculum that adapts to national and global legal developments, supported by an academic environment that encourages scientific publications, the strengthening of policy ideas, and tangible contributions to society. The program is also relevant for active professionals who need a space for advanced learning without sacrificing their connection to legal practice and institutional needs.

The prospects for graduates of the UPNVJ Doctor of Laws Program are wide-ranging, including academics and researchers, legal consultants, public policy experts, leaders in government institutions and the private sector, and advanced legal practitioners with specific specializations. UPNVJ aims to produce law doctors who excel academically, possess integrity, possess strong analytical skills, and are able to make a tangible contribution to national legal development.

Through this program, UPNVJ not only opens up opportunities for further study but also strengthens the legal education ecosystem, focusing on quality, relevance, and impact. This step aligns with UPNVJ's institutional development to prepare doctoral-level legal human resources capable of becoming thinkers, researchers, and drivers of change amidst increasingly complex legal challenges.
