UPNVJ Strengthens Campus 3 Preparations through Coordination with the Sukamantri Village Government

UPNVJ Public Relations – The “Veteran” National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) coordinated with the Sukamantri Village Government, Pasar Kemis District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, regarding the planned use of university-owned land for the construction of Campus 3, Tuesday, May 19, 2026. This coordination was carried out as an initial step in the development of UPNVJ's educational facilities and infrastructure so that the land use process runs orderly, safely, and in accordance with regulations. The meeting also served as a communication space between the university, the village government, and local community elements before the technical stages are implemented in the field.

The coordination activity took place at Pasar Kemis and was attended by the Head of Sukamantri Village, H. Nana Ibnu Holdun, Sukamantri Village Government officials, Lukman, the Head of the Sukamantri Village RW Forum, Suparno, and the Head of the Sukamantri Village Consultative Body, Kusnadi. From UPNVJ, Dr. Ahmad Ahsin Thohari, SH, MH, as Head of the Planning, Finance, and General Affairs Bureau, along with his staff, were also present.

During the meeting, UPNVJ presented plans for the initial stages of land use, which will be implemented in the near future. One of the key items discussed was land measurement by the National Land Agency as part of the land administration and boundary delimitation process.

After the measurement process is complete, the next stage is fencing the land area. This fencing is to protect university assets and support preparations for the construction of UPNVJ Campus 3 in Sukamantri Village.

The Sukamantri Village Government welcomed the planned development of UPNVJ Campus 3. It is hoped that the campus will benefit the surrounding community, particularly by improving access to education, strengthening local economic activity, and developing the Pasar Kemis area and its surroundings.

This coordination also forms part of UPNVJ's efforts to ensure that the development of the university's land assets adheres to good governance principles. Through early communication, the university strives to build constructive relationships with the village government and the community to ensure a smooth and conducive land use process.

For UPNVJ, the development of Campus 3 is a strategic step to strengthen the capacity of higher education services, support the need for academic space, and provide more adequate learning facilities. This step aligns with the university leadership's commitment to expanding UPNVJ's benefits to the community through orderly, productive asset management, and a focus on improving the quality of education.

The coordination meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded with a discussion and input from the attendees. This input was crucial in strengthening the synergy between UPNVJ, the Sukamantri Village Government, and the local community in supporting the Campus 3 development plan.
