UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) will hold a presentation on the vision, mission, and work programs of four prospective UPNVJ Rector candidates for the 2026–2030 period on Thursday, July 30, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. WIB. The event will take place at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, 4th Floor, UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus, South Jakarta, and will be broadcast on UPNVJ's official YouTube channel.
The presentation of the university's vision, mission, and work program is a crucial stage in the UPNVJ Rector Election for the 2026–2030 period. This forum provides a platform for each prospective candidate to explain their ideas, policy direction, and university development strategies that will be implemented during the next four-year term.
Through this presentation, the UPNVJ Senate and academic community can gain an overview of the leadership capacity, program priorities, and commitment of each prospective candidate in improving the quality of education, research, community service, institutional governance, and human resource development.
Previously, the UPNVJ Rector Election Committee held an open drawing of candidate numbers. The numbers are as follows:

Each prospective candidate is expected to deliver a measurable program relevant to the challenges of higher education. Strategic issues of concern include improving the quality of learning, strengthening research and innovation, expanding national and international collaboration, digital transformation, enhancing graduate competitiveness, developing facilities and infrastructure, and strengthening UPNVJ's identity as a National Defense Campus.
The presentation also provided an opportunity for prospective candidates to explain their strategies for institutional transformation and effective, transparent, and accountable university governance. The ideas presented are expected to address developments in science, technology, and societal needs while strengthening UPNVJ's contribution to national development.
UPNVJ is committed to conducting all stages of the 2026–2030 Rector Election professionally, objectively, and openly, based on the principles of good university governance. This process is expected to produce leaders with integrity, vision, and adaptability, capable of continuing UPNVJ's transformation into a superior, innovative university that impacts society, the nation, and the state.
