HumasUPNVJ - The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) again held a National Study Center Management Webinar, on Tuesday (24/08/21).
Sri Lestari Wahyuningroem, MA., Ph.D, as Chair of the UPNVJ LPPM in this matter said that the change in UPNVJ status from previously a work unit to a Public Service Agency (BLU) would certainly bring about new commitments and new targets that must be achieved by all units on campus. UPNVJ.
"This activity is UPNVJ's commitment where we have just changed our status to BLU, of course there are many preparations and plans to develop and carry out concrete movements, one of which is developing a study center," said Sri Lestari Wahyuningroem who is usually called Ayu in her speech.
"This is to rearrange the existing study centers at UPNVJ to make guidelines or guide lines for faculties and campus units within them to develop studies at UPNVJ," explained Ayu.
"With that, we need a lot of input from universities with better management for study centers because we have a target of making the UPNVJ study center relevant and able to significantly help UPNVJ develop," he said.
"I hope that all unit colleagues in our campus can study together today. We also invite LPPM from other campuses so that in the future we can process and collaborate well," he hoped.
On this special occasion, the webinar was attended by resource persons with quite good experience in research and community service.
There were 3 (three) speakers who attended, including the Head of LPPM Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Dr. Ir. Ernan Rustiadi, Dr. Sc. tech. Andy Kurniawan Head of HKI Sub-Directorate and Industrial Research Directorate of Research at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), and Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Subandiyah, Head of UGM Center for Biotechnology Studies.
On the occasion, the three resource persons explained in general how the organizational structure is in each of their respective fields.
