HumasUPNVJ - Still in the series of activities for Research and Community Service Week, the UPN Veterans Jakarta Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) held the inauguration of the Business Incubator and Intellectual Property Center owned by UPN Veterans Jakarta which was carried out directly by the Chancellor of UPNVJ in the Rectorate Building floor 4 , on Wednesday (25/08/21).
Prior to the inauguration of UPNVJ Chancellor Dr. Erna Hernawati said that this inauguration was one of a series of LPPM activities and it was hoped that it would be carried out routinely in order to improve the results of research and community service within UPNVJ.
"This agenda is carried out with the hope that the Business Incubator will deliver or produce business units starting from preparation to becoming a strong business, this is not only a strong business but a business that has continuity," said the Chancellor.
During the inauguration, the UPNVJ Chancellor cut the ribbon as a symbol of the inauguration of the UPNVJ Business Incubator and Intellectual Property Center which was also attended by university and faculty leaders.
Not only that, the Head of LPPM UPNVJ also invited the Chancellor and his staff to see the results of research and community service. There are 55 innovative products on display with their own uniqueness and creativity.
With this exhibition of innovation results, it is hoped that UPNVJ, especially LPPM, will further improve research quality and provide motivation to lecturers and students in developing innovative research products.
Not only that, the series of activities continued with the Business Incubator Development Webinar with Dr. Ir. Erry Ricardo Nurzal, MT, MP Plt. Deputy for Strengthening Innovation and Jezzie Setiawan, MBA, CEO of GandengTangan which is a company that can facilitate the financial needs of micro businesses in obtaining capital loans easily, through a platform based on peer-to-peer lending (P2P Lending).
By showing research results and hearing input from experts, it is hoped that this will become a reference material for lecturers and students to produce innovative products that are relevant and beneficial to the wider community.
