UPNVJ Public Relations - Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held Caraka Night as the culmination of its Sixth National Defense Actualization program. The event took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Sawangan Tourism Training and Development Center (BISPAR) in Depok, West Java.
Caraka Night was a moment of togetherness that strengthened student solidarity after participating in a series of training sessions and national defense materials. An atmosphere full of national spirit was created through the participants' artistic performances, chants, and unity-themed performances. The event also included a group reflection session and a bonfire, symbolizing the students' fighting spirit, unity, and commitment to practicing the values of national defense in their daily lives.
The Head of the UPNVJ National Defense Study Center, Dr. Ridwan, S.Sos., M.Si., explained that Caraka Night was designed to strengthen the values of national defense, solidarity, and leadership among students. "This activity provides a platform for students to express their love for their country while strengthening their sense of brotherhood," he said.
This event marked the official closing of the 6th National Defense Actualization series. Participants are expected to apply the values of national defense in their daily lives and maintain the spirit of togetherness and solidarity that has been fostered. "Caraka Night is not just a closing ceremony, but also the beginning of the students' commitment to contributing to the nation," Ridwan added.
UPNVJ continues to demonstrate its dedication to developing a young generation with integrity and a spirit of national defense. Through activities such as Malam Caraka, the university strengthens its role as an educational institution that not only produces intellectuals but also patriots ready to serve Indonesia.
