Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) established a collaboration with Prenada Media Group through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Agreement (IA) on Friday, September 26, 2025. This event took place simultaneously with the Public Lecture and Book Review “Critical Theory in Communication Studies” at the Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Auditorium, Pondok Labu Campus, Jakarta.

Dr. Azwar, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at UPNVJ's Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), stated that this collaboration strengthens academic synergy. "As an academic institution, we cannot work alone. Collaboration with various parties is necessary for academic activities to have a real impact," he said when met in Jakarta on Friday (October 3, 2025).

We have previously collaborated with Prenada Media Group, particularly in publishing books by UPNVJ Faculty of Social and Political Sciences lecturers. "This signing strengthens the existing relationship while expanding collaborations, including managing scientific journals," Azwar added.

A. Kasyful Anwar, a representative from Prenada Media Group, stated that the collaboration with the university aligns with their focus on publishing academic works. "We want to expand our collaboration, not only in book publishing but also in managing scientific journals with lecturers from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at UPNVJ," he said.

This collaboration supports the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in education, research, and community service. It also provides opportunities for lecturers and students to publish scientific papers, develop course materials, and strengthen campus literacy, in line with UPNVJ's Impactful Campus Program.

This step enriches the academic ecosystem of FISIP UPNVJ, improves research quality, and supports graduate competitiveness through strategic partnerships with leading publishers in Indonesia.
