Improving the Quality of National Defense Education, UPNVJ Undergoes ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audits

Public Relations of UPNVJ – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) held an open meeting for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 surveillance audits on October 29–30, 2025, in Nusantara Room 1A, Rectorate Building. This activity involved PT. Decra Group Indonesia as the external auditor, attended by university leaders, bureau heads, deans, and representatives of work units. This audit ensures the conformity of the quality management system and educational organization, supporting UPNVJ's transformation into a competitive, superior institution with a National Defense character. Through document verification and interviews, UPNVJ is committed to continuously improving the effectiveness of academic and non-academic services.

UPNVJ Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., opened the event with a presentation on strategic achievements for 2024–2025, including academic progress, governance, and digitalization. He emphasized the role of ISO standards in ensuring efficient management processes, ensuring optimal service for the academic community. This audit is a crucial step for UPNVJ to maintain its certification and identify opportunities for improvement.

The audit process continues with an assessment of each work unit by auditors from PT. Decra Group Indonesia. They verify the implementation of ISO guidelines and ensure the consistency and sustainability of the quality system. The audit results are expected to strengthen UPNVJ's performance in education, research, and community service, ensuring that it is measurable and oriented towards national excellence.
