UPNVJ Makes a Real Contribution to the 61st National Health Day: Strategic Research Presentation in Jakarta

UPNVJ Public Relations – Lecturers and students of the Master's Program in Public Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), participated as finalists in the 7th Annual Scientific Meeting (PIT) held by the Jakarta Health Office. This activity was part of the commemoration of the 61st National Health Day with the theme "Smart City, Healthy People." The event took place on November 20-21 at Grand Sahid Jaya, Jakarta. This participation demonstrates UPNVJ's commitment to supporting public health development through evidence-based research.

In the forum, UPNVJ participants presented research results focusing on strategic public health issues in DKI Jakarta. The names involved included Dr. Apriningsih, SKM, MKM; Rita Ismail, MKM, MTD (HE)., Ph.D; dr. Regia Puspa Astari; Fatimah Tudzahro, SKM; and dr. Ammy Fahmy Myala. These presentations were selected after a rigorous selection process, affirming UPNVJ's academic quality. Their involvement strengthens collaboration between universities and local governments in addressing urban health challenges.

Dr. Apriningsih stated that this activity provided significant benefits for both lecturers and students. "This activity is very beneficial for us as lecturers and also for our students," she said in a written statement to UPNVJ Public Relations on November 25, 2025. This experience encourages the development of research capabilities and the application of knowledge in the field.

UPNVJ's participation in the 7th PIT aligns with the university's vision to become a center of excellence in health education that contributes to society. Apriningsih emphasized the importance of such activities in achieving the university's policy targets. "We are proud of this activity, as it strengthens UPNVJ's role in public health innovation. This supports UPNVJ's vision to produce graduates who are ready to contribute to national development, particularly in the field of technology-based health and scientific evidence," she said.
