The 2026 UTBK-SNBT is Officially Open! Check Out the Requirements, Fees, and Complete Schedule

UPNVJ Public Relations – Registration for the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK-SNBT) for the National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) officially opens today, March 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB. Prospective participants are encouraged to register immediately through the official portal for the National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) by following the specified steps.

Under the latest regulations, each participant is required to pay a UTBK fee of Rp 200,000 as a requirement for participation in the selection process. Payment is made after receiving a payment slip through the system, particularly for non-KIP Kuliah applicants.

Important schedules in the 2026 UTBK-SNBT series:

  1. SNPMB account registration: January 12 – April 7, 2026
  2. UTBK-SNBT Registration: March 25 – April 8, 2026 (3:00 PM WIB)
  3. UTBK Implementation: April 21 – 30, 2026
  4. Announcement of SNBT results: May 25, 2026 (3:00 PM WIB)
  5. UTBK certificate download period: June 2 – July 31, 2026

UTBK-SNBT 2026 Registration Stage:

  1. Login to the SNPMB portal using your registered account.
  2. Participants are required to complete their biodata, upload a recent passport photo, verify their data, and upload a statement stating they are blind and/or visually impaired.
  3. Selecting a study program. Participants selecting a study program in the arts and/or sports fields are required to upload a portfolio.
  4. Selecting the UTBK center.
  5. Make payment of the UTBK registration fee.
  6. Download the UTBK-SNBT participant card.

During the application process, participants are given the freedom to choose study programs at both academic and vocational State Universities (PTN), with a maximum of four choices. The order of the choices will indicate the participant's priority in the selection process.

The general provisions of the UTBK-SNBT state that participants are only permitted to take the UTBK once. The UTBK results are valid only for SNBT and for admission to state universities in the current year. Furthermore, students who passed the SNBP pathway in 2024, 2025, and 2026 are not permitted to take the 2026 SNBT.

The UTBK-SNBT exam includes the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and the Literacy Test. The TPS covers general reasoning, general knowledge and understanding, reading and writing comprehension, and quantitative knowledge. Meanwhile, the literacy test covers Indonesian, English, and mathematical reasoning. The entire exam lasts 195 minutes, or approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.

With the opening of this registration, prospective students are expected to prepare themselves thoroughly, both in terms of administration and academic abilities, in order to achieve the best opportunities in the selection process for state universities.
