UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) is tightening supervision of the 2026 Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) in an effort to maintain the integrity, credibility, and fairness of the university entrance selection process. This measure will be implemented throughout the 2026 UTBK-SNBT implementation period, which officially takes place from April 21–30 and May 2, 2026. Supervision will be conducted from the time participants arrive at the exam location until they enter the exam room.
One of the tightened stages is the verification of participant files, which includes matching identity documents through facial recognition. This process is carried out before participants enter the exam waiting room to ensure that those present are the legitimate holders of the identity cards. This step is crucial in preventing cheating and other violations that could undermine the principle of fairness in the national selection process.
In addition to identity verification, the committee also conducted a thorough screening of participants, including the use of metal detectors. This screening was intended to prevent the possible use of electronic devices or other prohibited devices during the exam. Through these procedures, the committee strives to create an orderly, safe, and conducive exam environment for all participants.
UPNVJ emphasized that preventing cheating is not merely a technical measure, but rather part of the institution's commitment to supporting the honest, fair, and transparent implementation of the UTBK-SNBT. A firm stance against potential violations is expected to maintain public trust in the objective and accountable national test-based selection process.
Therefore, all participants are urged to comply with all provisions set by the committee, including bringing official documents, following the examination process, and refraining from any form of cheating. UPNVJ views the integrity of the exam as a crucial foundation in selecting prospective students who not only excel academically but also uphold the values of honesty and responsibility. The call for participants to bring official identification and comply with the implementation requirements is also in line with UPNVJ's official announcement regarding the 2026 UTBK-SNBT.
