Public Relations of UPNVJ – The Faculty of Computer Science of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (FIK UPNVJ) held a series of 31st Anniversary celebrations on May 6–9, 2026, at the FIK Corridor, Basketball Court, and Wall Climbing Court of UPNVJ. Carrying the theme “Techno Patriot: Continuous Innovation, Service to the Nation,” this activity became a momentum for FIK UPNVJ to strengthen the togetherness of the academic community, alumni, and partners while emphasizing the faculty’s contribution in developing technology that has an impact on the campus and society.

UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm, in his remarks viewed strengthening digital innovation at the faculty level as an important part of UPNVJ's transformation direction. Through the 31st Anniversary of FIK UPNVJ, the spirit of **Techno Patriot** is expected to not stop as a celebration theme, but become a joint movement to build a superior, relevant, and service-oriented technology ecosystem for the country.

The anniversary celebrations kicked off on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) lobby with an opening ceremony and talk show themed "The Media Digitalization Industry." On the occasion, the Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) of UPNVJ also introduced two applications developed to support digital services within UPNVJ: Lentera and SIMA, which were officially launched by the UPNVJ Rector.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FIK) at UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Ir. Supriyanto, ST, M.Sc., IPM., stated that the 31st Anniversary is not merely a ceremonial event, but rather a space to rebuild the spirit of togetherness within the faculty. He emphasized that the strength of FIK UPNVJ rests on the collaboration of five main elements: lecturers, students, educational staff, alumni, and partners.

"This 31st anniversary is one of our efforts to achieve togetherness from five elements: lecturers, students, education staff, alumni, and partners," said Prof. Supriyanto.

According to him, the Techno Patriot theme reflects the development direction of FIK UPNVJ as a faculty that is not only oriented towards technological advancement but also grounded in the values of service and usefulness. Technology, he said, must be present in a down-to-earth manner, close to the needs of society, and capable of providing real solutions for the institution and the nation.

"To the FIK community, let's build FIK well. Let's be down-to-earth technology champions," he said.

In addition to the opening and talk show, the 31st Anniversary celebrations of FIK UPNVJ also featured a variety of academic, social, and collaborative activities. On Thursday, May 7, 2026, FIK UPNVJ held a National Defense and Technology Exhibition and a Job Fair in the FIK Hallway. This event provided a meeting place for education, industry, and the community to expand networks and open career opportunities for students and graduates.

On Friday, May 8, 2026, the series of activities continued with a public lecture on "Handling Project Management Technology" and a free health checkup. This event demonstrated that the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine's anniversary is not only focused on strengthening technological competencies but also on the health and well-being of its academic community.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, FIK UPNVJ held the 4th IKATIK Congress in 2026 and again offered free health checks. From May 6–9, 2026, the event also featured an MSME Bazaar held at the Basketball Court and Wall Climbing Court. This bazaar expanded the impact of the anniversary celebrations by involving micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as part of the campus ecosystem.

Prof. Supriyanto, who, according to the official FIK UPNVJ website, serves as Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, believes that the 31st Anniversary should be a milestone in strengthening the Faculty's role as an adaptive, collaborative, and productive faculty in generating innovation. The launch of the Lentera and SIMA applications is one example of FIK UPNVJ's concrete contribution to supporting the campus' digital transformation.
