Public Relations of UPNVJ — The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) invites new students to unlock their potential and prepare themselves to become a superior health generation through a series of Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) FIKES UPNVJ 2026. Carrying the theme “Unlocking the New Journey: Transforming Yourself into a Health Patriot in the Digital Era,” this activity places self-transformation, competence, integrity, and the value of National Defense as the foundation for students to face changes in the world of health.
The theme reflects the beginning of a new journey for students in higher education and the process of building their identity as healthcare professionals. Students are required not only to possess academic skills but also to be prepared to adapt to technological developments and changing public health service needs.
The digital era has transformed the way people obtain information, interact, and even access various healthcare services. This requires prospective healthcare workers to possess broader skills, including critical thinking, appropriate use of technology, and ethical and humanitarian decision-making.
Through the 2026 UPNVJ FIKES PKKMB, new students are encouraged to be bold in changing and developing their potential from the moment they enter campus life. This process is aimed at developing a generation of health professionals who are superior, adaptive, and possess integrity, and who possess a national defense identity.
Collaboration skills are also a key competency emphasized. Health issues are increasingly complex and require the involvement of multiple disciplines, so students need to develop teamwork skills, appreciate different perspectives, and communicate effectively.
At the same time, students are encouraged to be innovative. Advances in digital technology are opening up new approaches to health promotion, disease prevention, healthcare, and even health information management.
However, mastery of technology must continue to be in line with ethics and humanitarian values. The ability to use technology must not diminish empathy, caring, responsibility, and respect for human dignity, which are essential elements of the healthcare profession.
The spirit of Health Patriotism fostered through the 2026 PKKMB FIKES UPNVJ aligns with UPNVJ's character as a National Defense Campus. Students are expected to grow into health professionals who are not only competent in their fields but also have a concern for the community and are able to make a real contribution to addressing the nation's various health challenges.
Through the theme "Unlocking the New Journey," PKKMB serves as a starting point for students to identify their potential, build character, and determine their academic direction. This transformation is expected to produce a new generation of FIKES UPNVJ graduates ready to learn, collaborate, innovate, and benefit society while upholding integrity, ethics, humanitarian values, and the spirit of National Defense.
