UPNVJ 2027 Musrenja Focuses on Synchronizing Budget, Programs, and Performance Targets

UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a Work Plan Meeting (Musrenja) for the 2027 Fiscal Year on Thursday and Saturday, September 17 and 19, 2026, at the Aston Bintaro Hotel & Conference Center, South Tangerang, Banten. This forum is part of the process of preparing the UPNVJ Work Plan and Budget for the 2027 Fiscal Year and also aligning programs between units to support the achievement of the university's performance targets.

The Musrenja (Work Unit Development Planning Meeting) involved sub-unit leaders within UPNVJ. Each unit was asked to prepare a draft work program and activities for 2027, taking into account the university's performance targets and the development needs of each unit.

Through this forum, programs proposed by each unit are discussed in a focused manner to ensure they align with the institution's goals. The process also provides a platform for synchronizing program needs, budgets, and the facilities and infrastructure required to support activities in the coming year.

*Program Planning Based on Performance Targets*

In preparation for the 2027 Musrenja, each work unit was asked to prepare presentation materials using a format provided by the UPNVJ Planning Division. The presentations included programs and activities planned to support the achievement of performance targets for the 2027 Fiscal Year.

In addition to program designs, work units are also required to identify facility and infrastructure needs. This step is necessary to ensure that budget planning is not solely focused on activity implementation but also considers the necessary facility support to improve the quality of academic and non-academic services.

This musrenja (working group development planning) activity is expected to make the planning process more measurable because the needs of each unit can be discussed alongside the university's priorities and targets. Musrenja also serves as a means of coordination to ensure that designed programs are not implemented fragmentarily but mutually support each other in achieving the institution's goals.

*Strengthening Governance and Direction of UPNVJ Transformation*

The 2027 Musrenja (Working Forum) is a crucial part of the UPNVJ planning cycle, ensuring that programs and budgets are formulated based on needs, priorities, and clear performance targets. Synchronization from the planning stage is crucial to ensure effective, efficient, and accountable program implementation in 2027.

This planning aligns with UPNVJ's institutional transformation, which continues to focus on strengthening educational quality, governance, infrastructure, digitalization, and internationalization. UPNVJ Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., also previously prioritized completing institutional transformation, improving educational quality, and strengthening its international reputation as part of UPNVJ's strategic development direction.

Through the 2027 Musrenja (Working Forum), UPNVJ strengthened its planning foundations so that every program and resource allocation clearly linked to the institution's targets. This forum also served as a consolidation opportunity for all work units to ensure that the 2027 program would have a tangible impact on improving service quality, achieving performance, and sustaining UPNVJ's transformation into a National Defense Campus.
