Collaborating with the Ministry of Finance, UPNVJ Students Can Internship at the Sri Mulyani Office

HumasUPNVJ - Chancellor of the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ) Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Finance which allows students to do internships at the Ministry of Finance.

"It is a matter of pride for us because the Ministry of Finance is one of the desired internship places for students. With this collaboration, it will certainly be very helpful and students will be more enthusiastic about participating," Erna said in her remarks during the signing of the memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Finance which online, Friday (3/9/2021).

This agreement and cooperation was carried out to increase the capacity of human resources and organizational knowledge capacity and support the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology's Free Learning-Free Campus (MBKM) program, one of which facilitates students to do internships at the ministry.

Erna said the teaching staff at UPNVJ would arrange student priority competencies to support the internship program that students would undertake so that they had relevant abilities.

"We will immediately provide special learning and competencies to students. Because this program must be carried out for one semester by students, it must be processed properly," he said.

Erna hopes that a lot of internship time can improve students' abilities which are suitable when working directly in society and the industrial world. With an internship at the Ministry of Finance, students are expected to understand the ins and outs of managing state finances.

The Ministry of Finance signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement with three universities. Apart from UPNVJ, the other universities are Padjadjaran University Bandung and Jember State University.

The Chancellor of UPNVJ expressed his gratitude to all parties who facilitated this collaboration and hoped that other ministries would follow this. (*)
